7 :: Gered Mankowitz (born 1946) - Traffic 'Backroom', 1967, printed later, limited edition Focus edition bromide print, signed by the artist and numbered 6/50 to the lower mount, framed 21 x 24.5" *Taken in the back-room of Mason's Yard Studio, London, 1967 and from the same session that produced the cover shot for the bands second studio album. It was later used to illustrate the first Traffic cover story in America's Rolling Stone magazine Gered Mankowitz's Focus Edition prints were published as limited editions of 50, with Mankowitz retaining one example from each edition for his personal archive. They were exhibited at The Focus Gallery on Museum Street in Bloomsbury, London, held between May and June 2000
