Martin Lee (1949–2024) was a British singer and songwriter best known as a founding member of the pop group Brotherhood of Man. The group rose to international fame in the 1970s with a series of chart-topping hits. Martin co-wrote and performed on many of their best-known songs, including the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest-winning entry “Save Your Kisses for Me”, which became a number one hit across Europe. Brotherhood of Man went on to enjoy continued success with hits such as “Angelo”, “Figaro”, and “United We Stand”, and became a regular feature on British television. Known for his smooth vocals and songwriting talent, Martin remained an active member of the group for decades.
