The case pocket contains a selection of original set lists, Martin’s personal business cards, tools, and strings, offering a unique glimpse into his working life as a performer. Martin Lee (1949–2024) was a British singer and songwriter best known as a founding member of the pop group Brotherhood of Man. The group rose to international fame in the 1970s with a series of chart-topping hits. Martin co-wrote and performed on many of their best-known songs, including the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest-winning entry “Save Your Kisses for Me”, which became a number one hit across Europe. Brotherhood of Man went on to enjoy continued success with hits such as “Angelo”, “Figaro”, and “United We Stand”, and became a regular feature on British television. Known for his smooth vocals and songwriting talent, Martin remained an active member of the group for decades. He passed away on 29th September 2024, leaving behind a lasting legacy in British pop music. Proceeds from this sale will benefit the British Heart Foundation.
