David Rotheray (The Beautiful South) - owned and played Hofner 191 4/6 double neck electric guitar, made in Germany, circa 1962; Body: brunette finish, light checking and other wear, but generally good for age, probable lacquer over-spray to back; Necks: both with ebonised finish and wear consistent for age, small refinished patches to the back of each head which appear to be covering previously installed strap button positions; Fretboards: rosewood; Frets: minor wear to both; Electrics: working; Hardware: generally good, replaced control knobs to treble side, control knob cap to bass side replaced with an old Dutch penny, missing strap buttons; Case: later hard case; Weight: 3.26kg; Overall condition: good for age
