8 :: Mark Griffiths' 1989 Heartfield DR-6C bass guitar, made in Japan, ser. no. C8xxx1, natural birds eye maple finish with a few lacquer blemishes, electrics in working order, hard case, condition: good *This guitar was built at the Fujigen Gakki plant in Japan. These basses were top of the line and licensed by Fender. Due to the collapse of the US dollar against the Yen, production was ceased after a short time. These basses rarely come up for sale and this particular one is the first off the production line. It was used by Mark with The Shadows and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Mark stating these facts
