11 :: Mark Griffiths' 1965/66 Fender Jazz Bass guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 1xxxx9, refinished in Fiesta red, hardware alterations, electrical alterations, electrics in working order, contemporary Fender hard case, condition: please enquire *This bass was purchased by Mark Griffiths at Mick's Vintage Guitars, Seattle USA in 1981. The body finish had been removed and the bridge replaced. The pickups were later changed to Seymour Duncans. It was used by Mark on many Cliff Richard band tours and the Everly Brothers reunion concerts at The Royal Albert Hall in 1984. It was eventually refinished in Fiesta red and used as a spare on The Shadows' final tour in 2004. Sold with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mark, stating these facts ** Sold with CITES certificate no. 554486/01
